The woman that checked us in was the best. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants downtown that were amazing. When we returned from supper and needed extra pillows for our room, she was there in just minutes with everything we needed.

The front desk ladies were top notch! Breakfast was good, all that we wanted. We loved the sweet quilted bedspread in the room. The pool appeared nice, though we didn't have the time to enjoy it. There was plenty of parking and the property was well lit. The location was excellent, with a gas station nearby, a Waffle House, a sprint across the road and a Walmart across the street.

    The locals love their town, "Thom" as some call it, and are...

    The locals love their town, "Thom" as some call it, and are proud of it. I know that the air is heavy, traffic bad with ridiculous speed limits, safety suffers in most downtown neighbourhoods, county sales taxes are high, service in most restaurants inexistant, only one park with a walking trail, the trail being one mile long. Once I was living in Tallahassee, and Thomasville was, like for many others, a nice and pleasant town to drive, 45 minutes up the road. I would usually drive here twice week, once for launch and once for dinner. Today good service is still possible to find in some low-key restaurants, like Chick fil-A and El Jalisco (I do not really like their "industrial" quality food, but they offer good service) or somehow more upmarket George and Louis, my absolute favorable, serving mainly seafood and Mediterranean cuisine, but places like these are rarities. The Plaza and Seminole Winds are not bad either. The current local archons have a lot of job to do, but then the decline of the town is probably their doing. Pity... I used to love this town.

    Thomasville is a Quaint town with great restaurants , nice for walk around and excellent trial for gravel bicycle . we had dinner at Sass , it was good .. I was craving the famous peach cobbler from Georgia, could not find it !!

    Thomasville is a great town with a lot of history.We were disappointed because Sunday and Monday the town is closed down.we found a bagel place opened on Sunday morning and had to wait in line for 30 minutes to get served.So don’t plan your trip on those 2 days.

    Everything was wonderful except the bedroom was too bright...

    Everything was wonderful except the bedroom was too bright at night.. Bring an eye mask to block out the light if you are sensitive to that sort of thing! Breakfast was particularly great... never expected a hot homemade breakfast that was better than many restaurants ! Also great front porch to hang out on after a day of shopping!! Don't miss this Gem!!!

    Thomasville has a lot of history to it.

    Thomasville has a lot of history to it. Interesting downtown to walk around. Restaurants are good. You are limited on 4 stars hotels. Covid awareness I would give 1 star. If you like to go to Malls you'll need to drive over to Tallahassee, about 30 minutes away.

    What a delightful town.

    What a delightful town. Lots of history and lots of things to do. We had dinner at a nice pizza place one night, Mexican the next night and seafood the last night. Breakfast was fabulous every morning at some downtown restaurants. There was always lots of FREE parking in the downtown area as well as the side streets. The people there are so very, very friendly. The cupcake shop is fabulous.

    As one of the chain hotels this Hampton Inn is not that different to other hotels. Yet, the people make the difference! Extremely friendly staff, helpful (easy change of our room) and all in a good mood. Pool was nice and quiet, breakfast more variation than usual and.... newspaper! Very happy with our choice.

    Used booking.com and hotel did not get reservation. Paid hotel directly and manager said he would make sure I wasn't double charged. After many phone calls, and almost a month later, I never got my money back. Booking.com charged no show fee and I stayed there!!
