    Trinidad has a lot of nice shops and beautiful old stone and brick and Victorian buildings! Many of the streets are paved with red bricks. We had a delicious lunch at The Cafe on Main St. and also a great dinner at Las Animas Bar & Grill! The owner spent a lot of time (at closing) talking with us about the music scene in town. Really nice!

    I tried to book the room thru the site I was FORCED on by the computer. The site booked me for the next night, which the ckeckin person finally found. I was charged for the wrong night ans she couldn't delete it cause of the fugged up system of the computer site.I WAS CHARGED FOR 2 NIGHTS. NOT THE FAULT OF SUPER 8 I KNOW. WILL PROBABLY NEVER USE THE COMPUTER SITES AGAIN. I have stayed at super 8 since then.

    When given a chance come to Trinidad lake State Park.

    When given a chance come to Trinidad lake State Park. Beautiful lake, nice camping areas, and often you'll be the only one there. Trinidad is a very interesting town with nice people and you can always find something to do.

    Trinadad was perfect for staying in a storm as the pass had...

    Trinadad was perfect for staying in a storm as the pass had been closed to get to the NM border. We were located by a Walmart and restaurants which was very convenient. The views were beautiful, and the roads were taken care of almost immediately!

    My wife and I were traveling from Dallas to Grand Junction.

    My wife and I were traveling from Dallas to Grand Junction. Trinidad and Amarillo are the half-way points for us on these trips, so instead of driving the extra 4 hours to get to Amarillo, we booked a room at this La Quinta just outside of Trinidad. It was the best decision I have made on a trip! Booking.com made it real easy to choose and I think this review will help you make that good decision too! Well worth the price and location!

    We were just passing through Trinidad.

    We were just passing through Trinidad. We lucked out by driving up to this hotel with no reservation. It was a very cozy, exceptionally clean and very stylish for a low price. We drive a large rig but parking wasn’t a problem. There was a Walmart next door which was very convenient!

    Our stay was for two nights for the Rad DirtFest event. The room was lovely and clean, the facilities were excellent. The staff were fantastic, making us feel very welcome and very helpful. In particular Jess at reception was exceptional, no request was too much trouble, making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again when we next visit Trinidad.

    Patricia, the hotel manageress, is an absolute delight. She's so thoughtful & kind. She made our stay amazing. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern & tidy. The gymnasium was perfect and we made full use of it every day. The other staff members were super nice & helpful. This is our go-to Hotel for Trinidad from now on.

    location, comfortable beds, disappointing the hotel bar doesn’t open sunday as I was looking forward to a nice glass of white wine. This should probably be writtten clearer in summary description of hotel as we were only staying for a night on the way to colorado springs
