I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Troy, Alabama, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The accommodations were below average, and several issues made the stay uncomfortable and stressful. First, the bed was terrible—hard, uncomfortable, and left me with significant back pain. I had to pull the cushion off the tiny, raggedy two-seater sofa to try and make the bed tolerable, which speaks volumes about the lack of comfort. The mattress quality was so poor that it overshadowed the entire experience and even ruined my Thanksgiving. The service was another disappointment. The lady at the front desk attempted to charge me for my service dog, even though I had prior communication from the manager confirming that I would not be charged. Thankfully, I had kept the email to resolve the situation, but this added unnecessary stress to my stay. Additionally, the hotel desperately needs upgrades. The television was outdated, and the doors slammed loudly enough to make me think someone was entering my room when they were entering theirs. This lack of attention to basic details further diminished the quality of the stay. Overall, my experience at Days Inn Troy was unsatisfactory. Between the uncomfortable bed, poor service, and outdated amenities, I cannot recommend this hotel. Management should address these issues to improve the guest experience.

The hotel said my card used to book room wouldn't be charged until I arrived at 6 pm. Well my card was charged at 11:00 a.m that morning before I ever got off work, or deposited my check into my account..I took off early, deposited my check into my account, and then my family and I traveled 3.5 hours on Dec 15th 2022 for my son's graduation at Troy university for the following day. Get there and our rooms had been cancelled because my card was charged before funds were available. Although the card was only suppose to have been on file to hold rooms...then card would have been used to purchase rooms upon arrival!! I was furious! And then staff nastily told my family and I no rooms were available!

Oyster on the half shell good restaurant, able to accommodate a large party, variety menue. College town. Troy is a very nice college campus. Places for conveniet shopping. No social activities

motel very old , didnt like the weekly guests sitting outside there doors drinking beer and cooking on their small grill. a real mess the next morning. motel very old, not kept up. should be torn down, can not be saved.

There needs to be a BIG sign for the motel right BEFORE the motel, the one now is past the motel, up against the pine trees and we missed the motel and had to turn around and go back, not a good set up.
