    We did not stay in Tupelo as we were passing through to Oklahoma. Stopped to sleep and hit the road early. The cost of the room as high since we did nothing but sleep. I am sure the city is delightful but we did not see it

    Tupelo is a very cute city with many connivences.

    Tupelo is a very cute city with many connivences. The area we visited was extremely safe and clean. Lots of places to eat, multiple public parks, and shops. There was a good police presence, and it was easy to get from one place to another. This is not the same Tupelo from my childhood when I would visit with family. The city has worked very hard to create a quant experience for all their guest.

    Tupelo is a great town little town to visit.

    Tupelo is a great town little town to visit. It has cool cafes and restaurants and shopping in historic downtown. History buffs will enjoy the close proximity to Civil War sites such as Shiloh and Corinth battlefields.You can even visit Elvis Presely's birthplace.

    Everywhere we went the people were so friendly.

    Everywhere we went the people were so friendly. There was a good variety of restaurants and venues to choose from for a nice weekend stay. Many are not far from each other. They have parks and unique venues such as Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo, There are several hotels to stay in that is within walking distance of other amenities. The parts of the town I saw felt safe and looked appealing.

    We drove through Tupelo to go from Missouri to Alabama.

    We drove through Tupelo to go from Missouri to Alabama. The Perfect town to stop in. It's a nice town where we felt safe even at 10pm when we got there and went in town to get food. We went to Slim Chicken to grab some food and they were amazing. Dropped in fresh fries and chicken for us. Super friendly staff. Also stopped at Panera Bread the next day. Nice new hotels in town. A place worth stopping in if you are driving by.

    Lots of places and businesses to visit and beautiful areas to see. Every business I visited offered pleasure service and nice merchandise. Shopping near the Conference center in the stores were super nice.
