The room was not very clean. We had no internet service, the Tv did not work. The bathroom was dirty. The towels were the size of hand towels not big enough to dry off. The shower handle was broken. The fact that the motel charged us twice after we left was not acceptable at all. I had to file for a refund. We did get our money back, but it was a hassle. We went to visit Univ of New Haven.
We went to visit Univ of New Haven. Hotel was ok, but the price was great. There were many food options within 10 mins. The area was not so nice. Very run down, very dirty and seedy. Univ of New Haven was tucked into a residential neighborhood that was very unsightly and we felt it flowed over into the University. I check in for two.nights and bring a guess voucher for one night they end up changing me for the free night, , I call the mng name Robert send him all proof of the over charge and he refuse to do a refund even know he get all proof , no room service no clean towels or bed change I had to go shopping for towels . The only issue was being awaken at 1 in the morning because of the fire alarm system going off. We had to stay outside in the cold for about an hour with no compensation from the hotel. I was visiting for Christmas and have family in the city. It is a suburb of New Haven which has many cultural attractions. West Haven is best known for its many beaches and long boardwalk.
