This Inn is a little hidden when driving through the town and we were definitely traveling during non-peak season. The streets were dead! Either way, we got to the Inn and thought we had the whole place to ourselves, because there were no other cars in the parking lot. We walked in and saw a beautiful, modern lobby with a fireplace going. The room was spaciously small, if that makes sense. There's no elevators in this place, so be prepared to carry your luggage around. Breakfast was good too. They had a little bit of everything, but better than a continental breakfast at a normal hotel. I would stay here again.

I love our two-story house with 2 bedrooms, complete kitchen, and 1.5 bath. Feels like home. I got to cook heavy breakfast, packed lunch and snacks for our whole day hiking in Yellowstone. Surprised there was a roll-up bed for 5th person. We slept comfortably. They let us borrow a couple of bear spray so don't have to buy one. Fortunately, we didn't use it and we just returned it during check out.

We had a lovely time staying at Yellowstone Motel. Right next to West entrance and room was warm and comfy despite freezing temperatures outside. Staff was beyond helpful with everything and quick to respond. Wish we were staying for longer. Would definitely come back!

    I really enjoyed everything about Yellowstone.

    I really enjoyed everything about Yellowstone. The west entrance was only a couple miles away from our cabin. There’s a restaurant right across the street. There’s also several restaurants and stores a couple blocks away. We ate breakfast every day at the three Bears restaurant. It was great bc they open at 6am. They have a buffet or you can order from the menu .We got stuck in traffic for a little bit in Yellowstone, bc there was a herd of bison that would not get out of road. I loved it, that is what I wanted to see. There are parts of Yellowstone that are absolutely breathtaking.I was disappointed that I didn’t see any bears.

    Great location near the national park.

    Great location near the national park. Fun restaurants and bars. Try the Buffalo Bar for great bison burgers! Check out Go Go Expresso on Hwy 20 near the Buffalo Bar. It is a cute drive up coffee shop.

    Great little town that caters to tourists and has a down-home feel. Plenty of hometown food and options. Truly is 1 minute to the main gates of Yellowstone making it a great place to enter the park. In my opinion it's the best place as you can choose to do the Upper Loop of the park or Lower loop easily. Trip from Bozeman took almost 2 hours as mostly 2 lane highways. Great walkability to the town hot spots from pretty much anywhere and fishing in local rivers appeared to be plentiful.

    The town had some very “western” restaurants, fantastic brisket, and a few reasonable stores. But it was overrun with kitschy t-shirt stores. Kind of low-end. Only a handful of reasonable stores. Nothing in comparison to Jackson Hole where we started our trip.

    Our family had an amazing time in West Yellowstone.

    Our family had an amazing time in West Yellowstone. It was a great place to access Yellowstone Park. Buffalo Bar was a great place for dinner. Food and drinks were exceptional . The Gusher piazza shop had great pizza and was less crowded than other places. We enjoyed walking around this town and taking in the sights. Be sure to take in the Yellowstone flick at the IMax theatre.

    First impressions were not good. As we approached there was a wrecked car parked nearby. The communal area wasn’t very appealing at the entrance so we didn’t spend anytime here The room has some nice features like the corrugated metal around the sink but the shaggy brown carpet looked very dated and the wardrobe had no doors. The lighting in the bathroom and sink area was very bright and white which made everything look very cheap. It was quiet as there was no one in the hotel or in the surrounding area.

    Great location for West Yellowstone. The only hotel that gave us a room 4h hours early as opposed to feeble excuses by others. Spacious room with good amenities. Very good hot and cold breakfast. Tea/Coffee/Water/Juices/Milk available 24/7. Very pleasant and helpful staff
