Beautiful stay near main roads but appears off the grid. Peace and quiet. Comfortable bed. Great little kitchen,

I spent 2 nights here.... first night was fine...quiet and comfortable, but it was relatively vacant. second night demonstrated that the walls were pretty thin. Not sure who had the room above me but could clearly hear them walking around at 3:30 am....pretty noisy. Then at 6:30 am my smoke detector went off while I was in the shower. There was no smoke or fire.... not sure why it went off. The staff was very friendly and attended to it quickly. I, however, would stay there again if in Whitehall. Clean and good location.

It was a older hotel, no elevator so be prepared to lug your stuff up a flight of stairs, the breakfast was a heat your own "Jimmy Dean " breakfast sandwich (my son liked that) and a few other decent options. There's not much to do around there, so it's more of a stop on your way to get somewhere kind of places.
