This is a great small California town.
This is a great small California town. The downtown is fun and the food is innovative and tasty with reasonable pricing. Flying Dog Wood Fired Pizza is some of the best pizza I've ever had and beverages were great also. Peter's Sushi and Chinese is a great meal that rivals the city. Lots of great walks and history and close the the Redwoods. There is also a funky drive-in that is now more of a walk in for burgers and ice cream. Great vibes and food.
I stopped because I needed a couple of days with reliable Internet and ended up having lots of fun and meeting new people. Off-leash dog park is spacious and a great way to exercise the dogs and meet people.

We enjoyed the restaurants. Getting around not a problem.
We enjoyed the restaurants. Getting around not a problem. It was a stop for us to rest before heading to San Francisco. We read about the homeless and did see that but we were not scared or bothered by anyone.

Nice little town. Main attraction is the Skunk train. But there are plenty more to do, as close by to State forest. Also there are many food options. We ate twice in Lumberjack's (breakfast was part of the hotel deal) and once in Flying Dog Wood Fired Pizza & Vinyl (dinner pizza). Both places had great food choice.

Willits is a convenient town to stop and stay in, not as big as and more manageable and 'almost' charming than Ukiah. It is quiet but with enough to eat and drink to make for an enjoyable night.

We went there specifically so we could take our grand-children on the Skunk Train. It was fun but expensive $75.00 each for a 2 hour ( round trip ride) But it was fun for all of us. Got a luttle hot. No A/C on train. We loved the Singer. All staff in Skunk Train were very kind

Fun little town and a good place to stay overnight on the way to the Avenue of the Giants - Redwoods are absolutely amazing and a must see on your “bucket list!” The Lumberjack Restaurant across the street from the Best Western hotel made it easy to get a good meal. The couple that manages this hotel were very interesting to talk to and helpful!

The pretty courtyard with fountain was a pleasant spot to sit with a drink. Otherwise this is a fairly standard motel - useful for an overnight stop (we were travelling from San Francisco to Portland), but we wouldn't have stayed any longer in Willits, though the Skunk Train up into the redwoods was a delight. Staff were lovely and went out of their way to provide information about where we could watch the Euros final.

Highly recommended!! This motel is very comfortable, the room is large, the bed was very comfortable although I am a tall person, everything is very clean!!
You find everything you need, the furniture gives a nice atmosphere. The owner gave us a warm welcome, I could borrow a hairdryer that really works. We recomend this motel to our friends
For breakfast we would definitely recommend Brickhouse Coffee Willits!!!!

Our room was very clean, nice and new, the shower works very well and the hot water comes out right away. The hotel is close to a lot of shops and next to the Greyhound bus stop. Check in and check out smooth and fast. We enjoy our stay at the woodrose.

this an older hotel in a small town. but the property is very well maintained, clean and nicely decorated rooms. The hotel is in excellent shape for its age and the staff was professional and helpful.

Stayed in room 306 - had good water pressure in the showers. Only stayed in this hotel as I needed a place to stop by after 10+ hours of driving. Lady checking us out was very kind and approachable.
