We enjoyed the rural scenery around Winchester very much.
We enjoyed the rural scenery around Winchester very much. Sherando park, Virginia state arboretum, Several farm markets, and the countryside in general. We enjoyed the Alamo draft theatre and wished that we had an opportunity to go to the outdoor drive in. Our only (slight) disappointment was that the 2 block Winchester outdoor shopping mall seemed to be losing some storefronts.Guest review byDonald - 8.0

The room was spacious and the staff were polite/nice. The bed was comfortable, but where the breakfast is located is a problem it’s too small and not enough for the size of the hotel. I've stayed at a Tru once before and loved it but this one in Winchester was even better. Comfortable, efficient room, awesome shower, huge TV. They have a pool, exercise room and a pool table. Breakfast is perfect. Lots of hot and cold options. The lobby has lots of seating options too - tables, couches, cubby holes, chair swings. Staff was friendly. The downtown area of Winchester was nice.
