It's a nice area to launch one into New England. It depends on what your destination is. We were headed to the Berkshires--a 2 hour ride. But the airline price is usually cheaper than Albany, NY. There is a ton of history in the Hartford area if you look...Mark Twain house a must see...air museum,...a great hub for trips to NYC, Boston and the surrounding areas if you're going to stay for a few days...a lot of must see history...most things are short drives 2 hours or so...I live in the West so a 2 hour drive is nothing...wont even get you out of some counties or even cities...there you can drive through 3 states in 2 hours...Guest review byRobertUnited States - 8.0
I really enjoyed the pool area for my children.
I really enjoyed the pool area for my children. That was the reason for our trip and that part worked out. The room was clean but did not have enough towels, toilet paper or comforters. When I requested more I received such a thin blanket and I was cold all night. The breakfast was not good at good. I was definitely expecting more and I walked away barely eating. Please read this review! This may have been one of the worst hotels we as a family have ever stayed at. The was no wifi, no tv, no bathrooms working in the lobby, no working pool, no hot water, no atm. And to top it off the people across from us were smoking weed all night! I do not recommend this hotel at all! If you are smart stay away and pay a little extra for a better hotel.Guest review byKC - 2.0
Horrible experience!
Horrible experience! I had to use another room to dry my hair because the one BOLTED to the wall didn't work, rust in coffepot water container, refrgerator/freezer looks like it was never defrosted, rug was disgusting, wore my sandals while in it, no glasses for water of coffee cups The "shuttle" bus was dirty, stains on all the seats and drivers seat had tear. I wouldn't even rate it but zero wasn't an option. Worst room I've ever stayed in and I travel alot.Guest review byMichelleUnited States
