The brreakfast was really, really good. Fresh ingredients, fresh and home made orange juice and muesli, fruits. Not a whole lot, but really more than sufficient giving the care and quality put in the breakfast.

This lovely hotel is literally near everything! It's pretty close to one of the main avenues in Montevideo (18 de Julio), a very short walk from the historic Facal Cafe and some other wonderful places like Plaza Independencia and Ciudad Vieja. The rooms are quite spacious, and the kitchen was incredibly convenient, with everything we needed for a quick coffee or even a nice homemade dinner. The internet is super fast, and we were able to work without any interruptions. Even though its so close to a main avenue and in the heart of the city, the room had great noise isolation, and we had great, quiet nights of sleep in there. The staff deserve a special thank you and lots of praise. Juan, Leandro and Paulo were absolutely amazing during our whole stay. (And huge, huge shout out to Paulo for helping us so much with everything, from bakery recommendations to information for longer stays, always with a smile on his face!) We are already planning our next trip for November and we are certainly staying there again❤️

Great location, near the central squares and the Old Town. Very pleasant hotel with nice staff, with an excellent grasp of English surpassing our limited Spanish. The city itself is a joy and the hotel added to the experience. It was very clean and welcoming.

The property is well located in down-town Montevideo, with access by walking distance to the Plaza Independencia, shops and restaurants. The room was large and comfortable, and the gym was adequately equipped for indoor workouts during winter weather.

The place is classic, and the service is excellent. The breakfast is complete. It is located 2 blocks from the Tres Cruces Bus station, where you can find taxis to the airport, shopping, and food outlets. If you are backpacking, you have the possibility of continuing your trip to Brazil or Argentina using long-distance buses. It serves as an excellent resting point and is well-located. The city of Montevideo is always incredible.

The hotel is located in the old town area. It's very convenient for discovering the city. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom clean (plus a large tree out the room window offering privacy and greenery). The shower had warm water and nice water pressure too. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast offered sweet and savoury foods as well as a good choice of beverages hot and cold.

Only 200 metres from Solis Theatre, Hotel Palacio offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV in central Montevideo. The Harbour Market in the old city is 1 km away.
