Cool town on Mekong river with peaceful views and friendly people. There are so many activities to do like visiting fruit plantation, sitting on boat along a narrow channel with 2 green along the way. Not a huge amount to do in this area. It’s a great getaway to relax and unwind in a resort. To get there from HCM I would use a bus company to the tourist port. You can cycle around but there isn’t a huge amount to see. Not lots of choice of places to eat outside the hotel. The food was EXCEPTIONAL, the garden beautiful & peaceful and our hosts were warm and welcoming. Our river tour with Nhi was an absolute highlight - we saw and experienced so much. Yes it’s rustic and doesn’t have all of the comforts of a city hotel, but that’s the point! The pool area is lovely and the staff were very helpful.
