A fantastic and memorable 3 nights, with an amazing team running the property who were so helpful. A big thank you to them! The location is superb- it’s remote; 10-12 kms from the main road, but the drive up the mountain pass is amazing. The rooms have speculator views across the valley. The food was great, especially the hot pot, which we had a couple of times. There are good places to walk/trek from the resort, and the locals are so hospitable. Hoang Su Phi is an hours drive, which has an amazingly colourful market on Sundays. The western side of Ha Giang is far quieter, more remote and less touristy than the eastern side, but this is likely to change once the roads are repaired.

Wonderful location, overlooking the rice fields, it's very beautiful. You can do several hikes on your own in the beautiful surroundings. The view is amazing. Very friendly owner and staff. The owner gave us good directions to get to the place.

The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious, giving us a true taste of local flavors. We also loved the opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about their traditions. The stay at Hoang Su Phi was magical. Hien took extraordinary care of us. We felt like family. The meals were exceptional and she went above and beyond to make sure our large family was cared for. The placement in the hills was magnificent with panoramic views across a stunning vista. Hien arranged a trek with a local guide, Sai, who brought us through the rice terraces and to an incredible home-stay lunch. This is truly a memory of a lifetime.
