That was the best hotel on our 4 week trip to Vietnam. Everything was clean and comfortable, the pool was great and the staff was exceptionally forthcoming and kind. The breakfast buffet was the best we had in Vietnam with a wide variety of both western and vietnamese dishes to choose from.

The staff is very charming and attentive. The room was well serviced every day. The location is close to the Old Town. Mrs Lan at the spa was outstanding. I had a little fever during one of my massage, she looked after me and she was very caring. I kept on going back. I did 3 spa days out of my 4 nights at La Charm. The staff was so professional, and the massage was on point. I feel rejuvenated and so relaxed. Mrs Nga at reception looked after us well. Thank you for your service.

The hotel is perfectly located and offers free bike rental - the bikes are not the best ones, but more than enough to reach the city centre or the beach. The staff is very cordial, the hotel has a very nice pool and breakfast buffet is quite good. The room was really cozy and clean. Laudry service is available. I recommend trying the half a day activity they propose including the coconut basket boat tour on the river, lantern making and cooking class. The quality-price ratio is honestly very competitive.

    If you want a truly immersive Vietnamese experience without big city noise you should visit Hoi An. It’s a cozy little town, the ancient town at night with the river lined up with lantern boats, silk and leather shops, wonderful tailors shops, small temples, people enjoying Bai Choi game and singing, the basket boats, the lovely rice fields…..it was truly local and beautiful.

    Simple quaint town with easy food and transport. Food was awesome and plenty to choose from. About 2 night's stay is sufficient leaving days to spend elsewhere in the area. Souvenir and craft shops looked really good, be prepared to bargain a little but most owners are not overly aggressive. Nice views by the river for sunsets. Sunrise is early at 5.30am and jogging around to explore is possible and fairly safe too.

    The Ancient Town is still great for a day or (maximum) two, but the whole place has become over commercialized. If I were to return, I'd probably stay near An Bang (quieterz has better and cheaper food, proximity to an o-kay beach) as it is easy to get a Grab and commute back and forth.

    The staff were very helpfull and polite. We didnt want for anything. They advised us on the best places to go. They provided a lovely breakfast for us every morning. Beautiful rooms, the view was awsome over looking the river. Recommend staying here

    The old town is big enough to spend a couple of days walking...

    The old town is big enough to spend a couple of days walking around and exploring, or just chilling in cafes. There are also plenty of massage places nearby and the beach isn't far either, so it's a good place for a short relaxing getaway. The best food we had was outside of the old town in restaurants full of locals. not tourists, and not selling the famous tourist dishes.

    Hoi An is a UNESCO World Heritage site and lives up to this designation in spades! The downtown area is quaint and beautiful. Many local artisans create one-of-a-kind items. If you need some new outfits or shoes, the local tailors and shoemakers are exceptional. The night life with the local lanterns everywhere in the trees and floating on the river make Hoi An by night truly enchanting. The night market has the usual items that I have seen elsewhere in Vietnam - but having them all in one spot was helpful if one is looking to do some serious souvenir shopping. The Lune Productions "show" is excellent and a "Must See" - book tickets on-line to avoid disappointment if you really want to attend the show

    We've just spent a wonderful week here, and it's become one of our favorite hotels in Vietnam. The family rooms are so spacious and beautiful with comfortable beds. Everything was spotless clean and the whole staff seemed to be in good spirit and always helpful. We truly appreciated the free bicycles and the pool area was relaxing and clean. There was a lovely breakfast buffet with good coffee. The location was perfect for us, very close to the old town and not far from An Bang beach. We were really sad to leave!

    Everything was absolutely perfect! We loved the interior of the hotel, as well as the super friendly staff and great food. The breakfast is delicious, we also stayed sometimes for lunch at the hotel and enjoyed it absolutely! The location is perfect, both for taking strolls to the old town, as well as to rent one of the free bicycles of the hotel and take a little ride to the beach. Will definitely come back if we go again to Vietnam

    It was such a special boutique colonial style hotel. Really nicely done and value for money. Brilliant location for us, a quiet spot with the family but totally close enough to the HoiAn attractions, old town, night market, restaurants etc. very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and bar out the front was handy for an afternoon drink when done touring! Pool was lovely & cold as needed!

    Hoi An Palmy Villa is one of those little gems. The facilities are great, nice large rooms, very friendly and helpful owners (family) and staff who do anything to please. Nice, big pool. In a great location near Ba Le market so easy going to either Old Town, the beaches or the rice fields. For long staying guests they even provide a free lunch one day for you with traditional Vietnamese meals.
