    Old Mui Ne (near Phan Thiet) is entertaining and one can find good seafood and western style restaurants. Basically a place for Vietnamese to enjoy the beach. The beach in Mui Ne is much nicer than Vung Tau and it is better accessible than Vung Tau due to the new expressway. With small children Asteria is certainly a good choice. Foreign adults have nothing to do here and they should go to "old" Mui Ne. Or Nha Trang.

    The location is great but the problem is the 3 hour drive...

    The location is great but the problem is the 3 hour drive from Dallas across the very winding road across the hills I think the drive from HCM is more straightforward but twice as long but around 3hours 30 Minutes. I'd go back but only when the Phan Thiet airport opens in 2025. Next tim I would stay Mui Ne side of Phan Thiet

    The Me Bungalow was in a excellent setting and There was plenty to do in surrounding areas Henry the owner organised excursions for us and they were top class . Recommend the Chinese Buddha and dragon fruit farm tour 👍restaurants We’re very good ( and there’s plenty of them ) . But if you don’t want to go out the food at the bungalow is good too . 😋

    I love the food here because it is very tasty (and also kinda sweet). Grilled meats, spring rolls, seafood, and soup are great. The beaches are very beautiful. The sun during daytime is very harsh. As a Vietnamese, I found the food prices are reasonable (it is not cheap but the food is worth the money). The local people are friendly, they show me where is best to visit and some good markets.

    Not as busy as Mui Ne which is very favourable because all I needed was a great break from crowd! Phan Thiet town is less busy as compared to Ho Chi Minh City and there are laid back cafes and I love the Lotte Mart (which you can find almost everything there).

    Quite a bit Hotel development is happening here regardless I think its more for locals some restaurants have english menus and it still has its charm and good local sea food. Most International Guest would go to Mui Ne Beach therefore you get good value for money in not to overcrowded Beach in Phan Thiet.

    I loved everything about this villa!! Will for sure go back on my next trip to Vietnam. Service was out of this world and me and my friend had the most amazing stay. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and the private pool and beach was just amazing! Everyone was very nice to us and we really enjoyed our time! Breakfast was amazing! Best we have had so far in Vietnam and we could pick whatever wr wanted. There is a menu for lunch, dinner and drinks to order from in the villa which was super good also.

    View from room over looking ocean was exceptional. Big room, separate shower and bath. Very clean. Staff throughout Hotel could not do enough for you. Breakfast good. Had Dinner one evening at restaurant Western Menu exceptional food and presentation and service by ALL staff. Would like to mention I had trouble with my suitcase lock and staff member took it to be repaired and had it returned on time fixed. Again service with a smile.

    This stay completely ruined our trip to Vietnam. We booked months in advance for a large group, but on arrival were told the price had increased to over 10x what we had booked. Several people had to cancel their flights. The facilities were dirty and the service was extremely poor.
