Situated on a quiet street on the outer skirts of the town you will find the ivy farm. The friendly couple has build this place by themselves and put a lot of care in to every detail of it. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. The bed is comfortable and the view in the morning quite nice. Make sure to try their coffee and food that they offer. Their coffee is grown with an organic philosophy in mind and the food is Traditional and locally-sourced Vietnamese cuisine. The farm is located South of Da Lat. There are some waterfalls to visit that can be reached by motorbike. But it is also worth staying here for a day or two if you have a good book in your suite case and hang out with the dog and two cats. Ivy farm is a great place for anyone who would like to discover the countryside around da lat without stepping too much on the beaten paths of the main touristic areas. It is a real farm house, so naturally there may be some bugs and mosquitos here but there were not too many in our experience. If you are lucky you might meet a local frog or snail in your house after rain. We had a great time here and highly recommend it for travellers and coffee lovers alike.

Staying at Nguyễn’s, or Jenny (how she introduces herself to the tourists for an easier communication) was the absolute best way of ending our 4 weeks trip in the South of Vietnam. We were at their beautiful farm for a few nights, and we wished we had more time. Where should I start? Jenny is friendly, relaxed and has a good sense of humor. She makes you feel like part of her family, while giving you your own space too. I really liked her mother as well. While we couldn’t communicate as I don’t speak Vietnamese and she doesn’t really speak English, we would smile and talk through signs. We had amazing food cooked by her and we could feel her warmth in her approach to us. We loved everything from the coffee ‘lessons’ and stories, to the beautiful views from our room, to our walks and talks with Jenny. There was a lot of laughter but also a few profound discussions about life which we really enjoyed. We visited places together, she also helped us rent a motorbike for a day and arranged lots of things for us, including a trip to Dalat and suggestions on where we can chase sunrise clouds by ourselves and helping me order a traditional hat that we brought back to the Netherlands and which I absolutely love. Her husband is also very nice and their son an absolute gem! When we got back home, one of the first people I texted was Jenny, to let her know we arrived safely and that a jar with some Vietnamese goodies had survived the flight. It’s been two months since our trip (we stayed there during the second part of February) and we miss the family and the farm dearly. I hope we can return soon. Thank you so much, Nguyễn!! The location and the staff are fantastic. Everyone at Midori is extremely friendly and accommodating. In the morning you wake up to a beautiful view of the highlands countryside that is hardly matched by anywhere else in the region. This is a great place for retreat and nature. Located at 1500 m above the sea level and has super comfy climate. The territory is great and lovely staff. Breakfast was ok, not the best for 5 stars, but we found something to eat. Planning to come back one day!

Wonderful family run place. Clean, and quiet. Very hot showers, free breakfeast and hot/cold water dispenser. On a quiet street close to Go supermarket and the lake. The 4 bed dorm had plenty of room and lockers outside for valuables. The young couple were very kind to me, inviting me to meals and drinks. A cute little girl who is fun to play with but doesnt disturb the guests. She helped me with my Vietnamese:) A wonderful vegetarian and other local restaurants nearby. Will definitely go back anytime i come to Dalat.
