We stayed at the Ocean House for 1 night during our Trip through the Western Cape. Sheryl and Allan were so warm and welcoming hosts that we fell in love with the guest house and the location. We had a wonderful time there with an amazing room offering us enough privacy and coziness. The bed was super comfortable and it was really quiet during the night giving you the best conditions for a restful night. The breakfast was outstanding and the fresh bread made it feel like at home. The room was warm with an available heater as well and we had plenty of hot water. We would definitely come back any time and highly recommend the Agulhas Ocean House. Thanks Sheryl and Allan for this lovely experience!

Location is just amazing. You step into the beach directly from the house. The apartment is good size for 3, and it is completely new and modern. The host is a 10! She leaves some food and drinks for you to enjoy during the stay. I would definitely come back

The Guest Lodge is situated in a very quiet and peaceful location in L’Aguhlas. Within walking distance to the famous lighthouse and the southernmost point of Africa. Thanks to the host, the self-check-in / check-out was very smooth. And we got prompt help from the owner when we didn't figure out how to put electricity on. The rooms were very clean and had all the necessary conveniences. Strongly recommended to anyone who wishes to make a stop in L’Agulhas.

comfy bed very quiet SAFE neighbourhood (no gates fences or electric wire) close to water. Centre of town within 10 minute walk. Both Liz and Mike checked in with us during our stay to make sure our needs were met. A special shout out to Mike who repaired Mary's leaky rainboots. Host offered excellent suggestions for dining

Great location to use as a base for exploring Cape Agulhas and the region. Well stocked bookshop on the groundfloor to find your perfect holiday read. Hosts Susie was very friendly and responsive.

    Agulhas is a quiet beautiful little town with wonderful places to eat and visit. The people of Agulhas are friendly and the sea view is lovely, lots of walking paths and an animal friendly environment. The southernmost point of Africa where the two oceans meet and it is part of the National Parks Council.You'll discover fascinating ecological habitats, shipwrecks, national monuments and signs of ancient settlements in this nature conservation area.

    The Lighthouse museum is a must to visit, as is the Africa...

    The Lighthouse museum is a must to visit, as is the Africa map at the southernmost tip - hopefully they will cover it in brass as it's degrading. A sunset walk was beautiful in the evening, and the tidal pools warm for swimming.

    Surprisingly pleasant, once you orientated yourself harbour in middle, long sandy beach on one side and lighthouse on extreme other, We saw buck on side of the road one evening below the lighthouse, splendid 😀

    Cheryl and Alan are wonderful hosts. Tea and coffee on arrival. Quick run down of local attractions. Cheryl booked supper for us. Very comfortable room - everything that we needed was available and in good working order. Breakfast was delicious. Such a lovely couple, really welcoming and helpful.. Would totally recommend a stay here. Would gladly have stayed for longer🙂

    The place was so close to the beach which is what I love, to be as close to the sea as possible. The Lighthouse was also a walk away and it was so easy going up the 71 steps to the top to enjoy the beautiful view. It was just unfortunate that we had bad weather and was not able to do all the things we planned to do. Theres a Parkrun every Saturday.

    Beautiful little town, the weather was unfortunately cold and rainy but we still walked around and visited the Southern most tip of Africa. I see there is many tidal pools. Lovely restaurants with good food. The city was very clean and had everything you need for a stay. Good shop and even a pick N pay liquor store. We will be back in summer

    Location very good. Close to the beach, the shops and restaurants. Extremely comfortable bed, lovely shower, lovely 'coffee table' books and lots of books in the bookshelves. An absolutely beautiful view from the lounge and bedroom. There's a a balcony to sit outside. It was lovely and quiet. Sufficient milk for a no of cups of tea :) and nice rusks too. Host very friendly and accommodating. Lots of seating space in the lounge. Nicely decorated with historical pictures of Struisbaai/Agulhas

    A comfortable guest house which was located very close to the beach. The owners were friendly and helpful. My room was quiet and roomy and I slept well. There was a reasonable choice provided for breakfast.
