Definitely take cash with you. There are many tours and expeditions you can book with the local community and they only accept cash. It's also a good idea to bring comfortable shoes. Usually you park in a designated spot and walk to the accommodation. They can make an exception when unpacking and packing the vehicle but when the rain comes the road to the lodge is even a challenge for a proper 4x4 because of the grass. Other than that, bring an adventurous spirit and a willingness to explore new things.
Also, don't give handouts to those who ask you. It will go against what the community is trying to achieve for themselves. If you want to give, then give to the lodge so that they can distribute the gifts the proper way.

The place is in a good location this is undeniable fact.
The place is in a good location this is undeniable fact. The staff though has no care whatsoever about the guest .If you booked in you will be just treated as one of the locals, there is no manager in charge. so staff do as they please.
WARNING !!! The roads are very bad only accessed by 4x4,the staff do not bother check in on you . You are on your own please consider this. Towing services are 3 hours away , the local towing truck are not easy to get as they are familiar with the bad road conditions.
most roads are not shown on gps. So you will rely on locals mostly.
