    Umhlanga is always a treat, everything is withing walking...

    Umhlanga is always a treat, everything is withing walking distance, so you can park your car on arrival and only use if again when you leave, lots of restaurants in area, shopping options, and fantastic hotels and accommodation! One of my personal favorites is Oyster Box, very welcoming, luxurious and the food is quite honestly amazing! I have yet to try a dish that i don't love, (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and it has the most amazing views. I always make a point of attending one High tea at Oyster Box while in Umhlanga, what an experience.

    Beautiful all year round weather. Good shopping . Harbour tours on boats along the Point Rd Wharf canals . There are god swimming beaches and promenades to walk along for exercise and to take in the scenery . Bird Sanctuaries and U Shaka Aquarium .

    There are areas around town mainly in the Point area where people just leave their shit all over the public spaces. This will chase away paying tourists who can't stand the sight and horrible smells that goes with it.

    Our stay was very nice.

    Our stay was very nice. We are well rested and would return soon. Thank you Durban and staff of Solsands. The people around Durban are nice. Variety of places to have breakfaste, lunch and Dinner. Lots of activities.

    Our hotel was close to the beaches and seemed safe of course during the say since we were warned to avoid late night outings.Ushaka marine what a splendid of shows witnessed there for both young and aged people a family show It was easy going around with uber transport

    My daughter was the person who stayed there and she loved her stay. She was highly impressed with everything about her final room she was placed in. The bed was comfortable, as were the chairs. There was a full mini-kitchen with coffee etc supplied. The view was amazing, could not be beaten! The bathroom was very clean and adequate. There was a lot of cupboard storage space. Everything in the hotel was extremely clean!! Thank you management and staff of Parade Hotel, Durban, KZN, South Africa!

    Great Breakfast buffet. Great selection and excellent service. Overall very friendly staff who go out of their way to make accommodate requests. Room was lovely. The pools in the hotel were great. Beautiful garden. Lovely view of the ocean. Excellent location near Umhlanga village. Highly recommend this hotel for a visit to Durban.
