A lovely town with friendly people.
A lovely town with friendly people. Many restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed the service and meals at Kuka, Topolinos and at Pioneers Grill. The cocktails at Kuka were absolutely wonderful! Excellent location,spacious rooms, free WIFI , Professional and friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, great swimming pool, my son enjoyed using it . Great buffet for Breakfast and dinner . There are lots of good places to visit: Perry's Bridge...
There are lots of good places to visit: Perry's Bridge chocolate shop is a must :). Note that Perry's Bridge is very close to the noisy main road, so if you are looking for peaceful place to eat (with a view) - check River's Edge Restaurant( great chicken strips and calamary rings) or Red Litchi Farm Cafe. Our family did the Skyway Trails zipline instead of going to crowded Kruger, and it was a winner. Public holidays are busy at any tourist destination and you pay to see every single waterfall. Graskop Gorge is a trap - you enter without paying to find out that there are more people than trees, to leave you still need to pay for the visit - PLAN WELL, check costs.Guest review byJoanna Holliday

The location was good for traveling to the shops for a self catering venue. Lots of choice in the area for eating and drinking. Lodge provided a great housekeeper to assist during our stay.
