The people are awesome and we had fun! The beach is fantastic for long walks or just relaxing. There is no shortage of entertainment and you are welcomed by everyone. I would recommend this place to all. Sea shells offers great food and right on the beach. The kospot offers homely meals. The hideout is an amazing bar for people to gather. Lots of great places to eat out, try a delicious pizza at Pili Pili Beachfront restaurant for example, just pack a blanket if its cold out, as its set up on a type of veranda, they do have outdoor heaters though. The beaches are lovely. Perfect surfing area with options for beginner surfers to advanced. Surfing with the dolphins was a huge highlight for my teenagers. There is a skateboard park. Lots of great factory shops of various brands in the surf village. Addo Elephant park is not very far away, so also worth doing a drive through.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Awesome beaches where you can walk for miles and miles. Seashells on the beach like nowhere else on planet Earth. Big, beautiful waves teeming with surfers and dolphins. And the best calamari to be had anywhere. The roads in town badly needs to be re-done. I took basic surf lessons, visited Surf Village (beautiful place) and went horseback riding at Papiesfontein (wow beautiful experience, in fact the best I ever had). I loved that the place was pet friendly as we needed somewhere safe for our pet whilst relocating. The house was secure and walled in at the back for him.
