The trip was with wonderful the place looked exactly as the pictures, the place is clean and fully equipped in terms of cutlery and that made everything about the stay awesome. The animals coming to visit anytime was also a 100%.

Marloth is an amazing place to go visit.

Marloth is an amazing place to go visit. Everything you need is within the park. The local butchery is a must stop for steaks, dry wors and biltong. The water park and eatery were a great treat for the kids and our group. The people were extremely friendly and the local wildlife that came to visit our house and the kids could feed them with the food on sale at the gate or any of the other shops in the park. We hope that the area will get rain soon as all is very dry after nearly two years of drought. The upside is you get to spot the animals easier.

It was a treat to have game visit your doorstep any time of day. Enjoyed the view of different types of wildlife all around the park. There's a variety of food areas just slow service in some of the establishments but good food especially at the Bos restaurant. Enjoyed the spar in the park which came in handy with forgotten items.

Marloth is essentially a residential area in the bush - there are many houses that are privately owned, as well as hotels / lodges / B&Bs. Apart from the main road which is tarred, all the other roads are dirt, but accessible in a car. As you drive you will spot kudu, giraffe, warthog, impala, bushbuck, guinea fowl and numerous other species. We travelled in winter, so the area was dry, however, many houses have troughs for the animals to drink form and guests / residents purchase feed for the animals to enjoy in their gardens - no houses appeared fenced, which was great as this allows the animals to move freely through the area. We also did not note any animals in poor condition - they appeared extremely healthy. Guests can enjoy walks through the area and there is a trail running along the Kruger fence line, along the Sabie River where bigger animals can sometimes be spotted, and is a great spot for a sundowner as there are benches. There are restaurants to dine at and a Spar for self catering needs. There are curio shops and play areas for children. A wonderful place. It was also great to see that the residents are working on restoring the habitat. Go! You won't regret it - what an experience!

Kaya KaBush is an absolutely beautiful property - clean, comfortable and luxurious, with lots of lovely, personal touches. It is very well equipped - we wanted for nothing. The visiting animals are a real bonus and we spent a good few hours sitting outside, waiting to see what would turn up - we were never disappointed. The Kruger National Park is easily accessible from Marloth Park, which makes it a great place to stay. This was our second visit to Kaya KaBush and we are already planning our third!

The location was great; +- 30 minutes from 2 Kruger National Park gates. It's also close to the shop in Marloth Park in case we needed to get anything last minute. The space in the house is amazing, and there was plenty of room to relax, whether inside or outside. It is 3 stories, although we didn't use the top dining area much. The house had everything we needed in terms of crockery, cutlery, etc. The animals came close enough to view, and the pool is big enough for dipping, sitting, and relaxing.

Very good location. The house had absolutely everything we needed which was so convenient, the only suggestion we would say would be to put a washing machine, it would be so helpful, we did end up using the laundry business in marloth park which was great as well. The location and homeyness were our top favourites, something about that house made us feel very at home and relaxed...would definitely recommend to friends and family and we will definitely be back!

We had a good stay at Needles Lodge in Marloth Park. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, with wildlife often visible right from the deck. The staff were friendly, and the lodge had a relaxed, welcoming feel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was consistently tasty and generous. Overall, Needles Lodge was a pleasant place to stay, and we’d consider returning—just with a different safari guide next time.
