The roads are in terrible shape with potholes everywhere. Travel in a 4X4 to avoid costly damages on your car. I am sure the council at Newcastle will give the usual excuses like they have no money in their budget to fix the roads. Very quiet area, looking as expected of a bnb. The room was quite antique but expected for the price paid. The bedding was very clean which was a plus. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable, and they provided us with hot water and ice cubes for drinks as a welcome. The highlight of the hotel is the extremely lovely garden and a cute interior in the dining room, where we received a very nice breakfast.
