All the small things that most properties forget, the Eshowe Hill Cottages remembers. For example, these days we all have multiple electronic devices, and therefore the property ensures there is enough 3-pin and 2-pin power sockets for many devices. Also, there is currently load-shedding and they provide a charged lamp and torches. That said they’ve also a generator for the main bar and restaurant area, but nice to have thought given to power cuts. Property is in a golf country club and so very secure gated property with CCTV. Ample DSTV channels just like being at home with the full package. And good fast wifi, where streaming works well. The restaurant and bar is part of the country club, so always an atmosphere, especially when the Boks are playing. Food is very country club-esque and so not over priced, good portion size and menu that you’d expect in a country club. Proper coffee too for breakfast and whoever is the barista knows the importance of the water temperature and the bean grind.
