Exceptional stay! If there was a higher rating on bookings.com I’d give it. Ingrid and Bruno are fantastic hosts, arguably the best I’ve ever stayed with and I’ve travelled extensively the last 23 years to every continent. The studio is super stylish, international standards, could be in Amsterdam, Paris or Berlin. It’s got everything you need and is super comfy whether you’re here for a night or a week. The garden is absolutely sublime too. Overall this property is very peaceful, conducive to remote working with excellent wifi and getting good rest after a long day. I particularly like the location, it’s in a lovely area - close to the eco running trails, stores and animal hospital, which is why we were here. Lovely touches throughout-love the art by local artist Terry Angelos, wire weaver birds etc, so tastefulIy done, great attention to detail which I appreciate. I will only stay here when I’m in Pinetown again and recommend Ingrid and Bruno’s place to everyone. Thank you for having me and for being so kind and warm throughout my stay. Look forward to seeing you again, under different circumstances.

The location was very convenient. Nkosi (the exceptional one) provided first class service right from check in to check out. I was impressed by his humility, professionalism and overall guest relations skills. Brad (the good looking one) took time to sit with us and chat while providing valuable information about the surroundings and tips on how to experience the best of our vacation. Breakfast was great and filling. Last but not least, I enjoyed the comfy bed and pillows and all the staff were welcoming, kind, friendly and helpful.

    The Hotel rooms are okay the windows, doors and curtains...

    The Hotel rooms are okay the windows, doors and curtains must just be cleaned often. The self catering units are not on point. I would recommend that the establishment do a spring cleaning of rooms every weekend as OT. The place must also be fumigated on a regular basis. Complete the renovation on other units. Make a braai area since its a self catering. The maintenance of the building and the appliances is very important. In almost every self catering room something was not working. Other than that if they can attend to this than they place will be a gem. I would recommend people to stay on a budget friendly but in the Hotel and not the self catering.

    The property is located at a very dangerous location.

    The property is located at a very dangerous location. There was no Wi-Fi provided. The room I got was very small, not even the size of the standard room. I had to pay more money to be allocated to deluxe room. After my room was made up, they left it unlocked.

    Nothing to like about Bayside Lodge.

    Nothing to like about Bayside Lodge. They overcharge me and I'm still awaiting my R800 refund which was never paid back. They charge you an additional fee for parking, Pathetic😡 Would never stay there again and won't recommend it for no other traveller.
