The surrounding area, especially the Magoebaskloof, is beautiful and has exceptional nature. There are also good restaurants and coffee shops in Haenertsburg and in the Kloof. But it is not worth visiting the town, Tzaneen itself. Lots of accommodation is available. Beautiful hiking trails. It is a place to relax in nature and to get some rest for your soul. The town of Tzaneen itself is note interesting or pretty at all but the outlying areas particularly the Magoebaskloof and its many trails and natural sites and the charming little village of Haenetsberg are truly worth a visit. The forest trails are really lovely.Guest review byMark - 10.0

We enjoyed going to the Lion and Predator Park at Letaba River Resort. Loved the travel experience from Polokwane to Tzaneen via Magoebaskloof. Beautiful sceneries and breathtaking views. Mountainous views spectacular in the morning and the CBD easy to navigate. Seems so secluded and peaceful yet still close to Tzaneen Town. The host was absolutely amazing and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The rooms are stunning, calming, and of the highest quality. The attention to detail from the welcome drinks to the bedside chocolate and all the amenities is first class. The Magnolia Bistro o site has the most delicious food and the view from the deck is gorgeous. Definitely will have to visit there soon again.
