Loved everything, lots to do and see.

Loved everything, lots to do and see. Loved seeing the local elephants strolling along the roads. Going on a sunset river cruise is well worth doing. Visiting the cultural village. We ate at our own hotel as the food was excellent

I've travelled to Livingstone before so I knew what to expect. My husband has mobility issues and everyone we met made him feel welcome which was very important to me. We didn't bother with a car as the local taxis were reasonable and comfortable.

Obviously the Falls - and the Zambian side is without the best viewing aspect. The township is clean and has most amenities with the Museum being its highlight. A sunset river cruise is a must do and a helicopter flight is well worth the price.

Livingstone is a bustling, lively city that never sleeps.

Livingstone is a bustling, lively city that never sleeps. Nights are full of sounds from music, trucks, trains, dogs. Accommodation outside town is quieter. It is easy asy to walk around through you will be approached and asked which country are you from which is an introduction to sales and marketing spin for some item! A vibrant African city full of character and not over run with tourists. The view half ways up Mosi-oa-Tunya road, outside Livingstone museum down onto Victoria Falls spray is amazing to see in the town, and coffee shop further up the hill serves locally produced good coffee. Getting around Livingstone was easy to walk or get a friendly taxi. Fishing up the Zambezi for tIger fish on a small boat was a great way to get a view onto the river, hippos, smiling crocs, birdlife, villages with a local fishing guide. I caught no fish but would go fishing again here anytime.

Livingston and all the excursions were amazing! Highly recommend Livingston island, helicopter ride, boat cruises, viewing the falls from the Zambian side and the Livingston Train in the night. Food was excellent on the train.

On the banks of the mighty Zambesi afross a large Island. Great proximity not too far out from the town and falls. Great breakfast and pizza and the most beautiful sunset cruise, although expensive for an African, it was really fabulous. The meals include the waiter's tip. Try the chocolate Gateau! Stayed in lovely clean room in the adventure village. One can also walk next door to David Livingstone lodge and spend some time there as well.

Room 1 was so beautiful (local touch, comfortable bed and good shower) It was the 40th birthday of my girlfriend. She was celebrated by the Lodge to the best with gifts and chocolate cake. The owner and the staff are really welcoming and supportive. They know all the activities in Zambia and beyond. They organize trips with professionalism with Off Road Safaris. Best quality for affordable price Authentic experience

In a beautiful location next to the Zambezi river. Zebras and giraffes wandering the grounds. Hotel residents have free access to the national park where you can walk along a path with excellent view of Victoria falls. We stayed in February and the falls on the Zambia side were very impressive and although it was misty this didn’t obscure the views.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to stay at The David Livingstone Safari Lodge. Our experience was fantastic. Beautiful hotel right on the Zambezi river, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. An extra nice touch to receive a personal card from the team to wish us well on our honeymoon!

The hotel is fantastically located right in the centre of Livingstone, and has a lovely garden/swimming pool area and nice bar/breakfast terrace. The homemade pizzas are good too.
