Gästhaus Krenn is a gem! The location is so beautiful and charming. We felt welcomed from the start and got a complimentary upgrade to their apartment number 3 in the Residence. The apartment had the most amazing views of any accommodation we stayed in. Great views overlooking the region, mountains and the castle. We ate at the restaurant and wanted to go back again but it was fully booked. The breakfast was delivered to us and it had variety of local bread, cheese, jams etc. The staff kindness and friendliness are unmatched. We really loved our time there and we wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The hotel is a great example of welcoming hospitality. Positive attitude where nothing was s problem. Staff had been very nice and helped arrange anything customized we needed. Like beeing late to the restaurant kitchen was closing but they served us. Equipment was brilliant, stylish and very comfy. Great location next to the lake. Thank you staff!!

Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of variety for you to choose from.

We loved the views from our room, the breakfast, the proximity to the 5-hut trail, and the Dachstein Cable Car. The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming when we arrived and check-in was easy. We also got summer passes which gave us access to the mountain coaster and the toll road!

Loved the local bakery fresh bread and croissants served at breakfast - along with some organic local free range eggs for a decent portion of protein! Really good breakfast overall. Dinner was equally amazing - creative and exciting. Considering the premium quality of beef they use ( I asked about it ) it is unbelievable they charge such reasonable prices. French cheeses for afters were heaven. This is a food destination bar none. After skiing I sunk into a comfy bed and slept well in a totally quiet room. Morning sunshine through my balcony invited me to go for an early walk. The young owners Iva and Bert were good fun to talk to. Overall, I had a great stay and recharged my batteries to the fullest. Highly recommend.

Loved EVERYTHING about Coolnest - staff was so Nice, helpful, cheerful, efficient and professional yet highly personable. The owner even engaged in a wine tasting with his guests and discussed his inspiration for the hotel. The hotel itself and the facilities are top notch, the decor was very cool and so we done, every detail done well and the all the areas from the reception area, the breakfast area, the roof top bar and restaurant, the pool the gym and yoga rooms were done so well. Not to mention the rooms that were functionally laid out perfectly with million dollar views of the zitteral valley. And did I mention all the free activities - hiking, biking, yoga, wine tasting, etc that comes free.

Absolutely fantastic unconventional hotel -castle- with beautiful design, a combination of old historical elements and modern design architecture. Everything is very impressive. Checking is very easy, instructions were sent to the e-mail. Rooms are combined of old and new style, very clean, water is available, beds are comfortable, bed linen and towels are pleasant and pure white. It's completely quiet in the garden, we slept well. It is possible to use the modern designer fully equipped kitchen, there is a wine cellar and small snacks available. You can take everything and pay upon departure. Breakfast is in the green castle lounge, absolutely amazing, a large selection of everything, the staff is very friendly, helpful and smiling. Overall, the accommodation exceeded our expectations, thank you.
