Follow the trails around the large, forested enclosures to see the friendly apes playing together. The Zongo Waterfalls make for another popular day trip out of the capital. There’s a fair bit of hiking involved, but seeing the water thundering over the precipice into the river below is a sight worth hiking for. Back in Kinshasa, take a scenic walk along the river, or embrace the dance culture the city prides itself on, and try out some afro zumba classes.
