An absolute paradise right on the shores of Lake Atitlán. We loved our stay at El Picnic. The room was truly wonderful, beautifully constructed, spectacular views and the right blend of amazing comfort and proximity to nature. Johannes and Gaby and unbelievably gracious hosts - they'll go out of their way to make you feel at home at all times. Breakfast and dinner was excellent every day. Our only complaint is that we had to leave. We'll definitely visit again next time we're in the area

I loved the whole experience, staff was extremely nice and polite, gave all information needed and the facilities are just awesome. I enjoyed my stay so much I even woke up disoriented thinking I was at home 😂😅

Love this hotel! The room is large and super clean. The staff are awesome, friendly and always attentive. The hotel arranged everything for us, pickup and transport and tours with guide. The hotel arranged everything had a very chill vibe with great views and lots of areas to relax and enjoy a quiet moment. The food was thoughtfully made and when we were going on tours, they packed very nice sandwiches for us.

Breakfast was great for free. They also had more options for a little more. Very quiet, comfortable and among beautiful gardens. Best place I have stayed in Guatemala. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I felt very safe.

The scenery / views over Lake Atitlan were breathtaking. Getting there was made possible thanks to Eros, one of the hotel staff, who went out of his way to organize transport to the hotel from downtown Panajachel for us. The breakfast food and portions were quite generous. We loved the views from our balcony and the many pic opportunities at the pool. We loved our stay as everyone treated us kindly and attended to our needs immediately. We highly recommend this hotel.
