The owner was very friendly and helpful. All meals were delicious. The location on the lake is beautiful. Vök Baths are close by.

The staff were so friendly and recommended nice things to do for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we got nice bathrobes. Breakfast had eggs, bacon warm bread and all kinds of other things. Coffee was good. Over all we had a super good stay here ☺️

Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. What a wonderful hotel. Everything was spotless and well designed. The view of Lake Mývatn was just awesome from the bar and the restaurant. Best location possible. Wish we could have stayed much longer. Will use this hotel again on my next visit. Food in the restaurant was very good both diner and breakfast. Bonus was seeing the northern lights dance above the lava fields surrounding the hotel.
