Facing the beachfront, Maison Ylang Dive Center offers 3-star accommodation in Nosy Be and has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. Extraordinary well decorated rooms, every little detail was cared about. Runs on own solar power and has his own water purification system. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. A place to feel like home.

Situated in Nosy Be, 90 metres from Djamanjary Beach, Anki Lodge features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. The location was fantastic; stunning sunsets, and the oasis of greenery was amazing. The owner Pascal has dedicated the majority of space to the lovely gardens, swaying palms, and all things nature. Both Pascal and the manager Sandrine were incredibly helpful with everything and anything - scooter rental, dive shops, boat trips, trips to the national park, airline issues, local transportation - just a fantastic experience start to finish.

The 'rooms' are large and more like cabins. Each has its own small patio with a view. Washroom is large and clean. Hot water mostly in the morning. Comfortable beds. Helpful attentive professional staff. Swimming pool. Great restaurant.

Set in Nosy Be, a few steps from Ambondrona Beach, Swisscocobeach offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Probably the best place we stayed during our 3 weeks in Madagascar. Great room on 1. floor with aircon, fan, safe, beautiful view of the sea, perfect balcony. Nice pool. The restaurant has good food, but there are also a few other options along the beach. Wifi comes and goes. Like in most (all?) hotels on Nosy Be, the aircon is run on the island's el supply, not the generator, so it doesn't work all the time.

Located in Antananarivo, 16 km from Soarano Station, Nosy Manga - Hotel Ivato Airport provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We had an amazing room - a sute with a chess board in it! The rooftop pool and downstairs restaurant were both lovely. It's very affordable with free airport transfer. We didn't explore the surrounding area, but if you want a nice place to stay especially near the airport then it has everything you need.

Résidence Le Hublot is situated in Antananarivo, within 1.9 km of Andafiavaratra Palace and 2.8 km of The Rova of Antananarivo. Central location, very clean lovely boutique hotel run by a very helpful and nice French lady

The Citizen in Antananarivo provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. You can see the lake from the room as well as the terrace. The nostalgic hotel offers good service on everything. Wifi is fast and stable. Staff are friendly and super helpful. It only takes them one minute to switch on the generator after the power cut. The restaurant attracts not only guests like me but also guests from outside. Their grilled zebu is really one-of-the-kind. I hope i can come back for the grilled zebu again. Don’t miss the sunset on the terrace. The upper town looks like a painting with the sunshine.
