Just south of Sicily, Malta is a small archipelago of three islands but packs in prehistoric temples, a thriving capital and turquoise waters flowing onto white-sand beaches. Located on Malta Island, the ancient capital city of Valletta is described by UNESCO as ‘one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world’. Like a fine wine, the city has improved with age; its Roman Catholic cathedral flanked by an array of museums, shopping areas and 16th-century mansions converted into bars and restaurants. Other must-see attractions include the Hypogeum – a prehistoric burial site unearthed in 1902 – and the Megalithic temples which can be observed on both Malta and Gozo island. Malta’s rural beauty makes it perfect for all sorts of activities, such as hiking along the Gozo coast, sailing past secluded caves or diving amongst shipwrecks. If you’d rather ride a wave than dive below one, then numerous surfing spots are available, including Palm Beach, St. Thomas and Ghallis on the north shores of Malta. Comino is Malta’s smallest island but still worth a visit by any means. Its main draw is the Blue Lagoon – a huge pool of crystal-clear water on the uninhabited islet of Cominotto. Charming hotel with very friendly staff, always eager to help and offer advice regarding places of interest, dining and transport options. The owners, Carmen and Chris, are very kind and welcoming and make sure that the guests feel at home, away from home. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel is perfectly located, at just a 1-minute walk from the centre of the town. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We arrived earlier and were offered to wait for a room by the pool. All the facilities were spotless and comfortable. Our room was spacious, and the beds were comfy.

Everything about the property was exceptional. From the communication before arrival to stepping into the beautiful entrance way of the building for the first time. Every detail of the room is so well done and feels so thought out. I absolutely loved staying here and hope to stay there again!

This hotel is a gem in Valletta. Immediately upon entering the hotel you are greeted with a nice drink and snacks. The reception lady, Silvia was extremely kind to us. She was always aware and smiling. She is so helpful. In the evening they had free drinks and tapas in their bar area. The location is amazing. So easy to get to all areas of Valletta and it's also quiet. The breakfast was very nice although is would be nice to have more hot food items besides only eggs. I was really amazed with how clean the room was. It was as if we were the first ones to stay in it. Each day they cleaned it immaculately. Silvia arranged a taxi for us at 3:45am and even had boxed breakfast for us as we left to the airport. She was so kind and helpful to us. We hope to return here in the future.
