Conveniently situated in Kathmandu, Magnificent Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. The hotel is new and has everything you need. Rooms are spacious and has a luxurious touch to it. They have a restaurant at the ground floor where the free breakfast is served. It is a great place to meet and mingle with other guests. Room service is also available in case guests want to order from the restuarant. Breakfast was buffet and has everything you need to start your day. Bread, rice, meat, veggies and fruits, juices and coffee/tea, cereals, pancakes etc. The staff were amazing! Very friendly and will cater to every request you would have. The location was perfect! Just a few minutes from the Thamel Square where the action is. (You can find a lot of Japanese, Korean, Chinese restaurants in the Thamel Square. Souvenir shops are also there.) One-time pick up OR drop off from the airport is an added bonus that I have never experienced before and saved me effort and money. And... they have a weighing scale at the reception to check your baggage! How cool and usueful is that. Above all, the hotel manager, Mr Ganga is the best! He goes out of his way to make sure his guests feel welcomed, are comfortable, and having a great time. I had a private tour on my second day, got lost somehow, and when I couldn't contact the driver, he went out of his way and picked me up in his scooter so that I could meet the driver. I've been to quite a few hotels in different countries and Magnificent Hotel in Kathmandu is definitely one of the top 3 hotels I've been. Thanks to everyone especially Mr Ganga for making my stay in Nepal a memorable one.

Ideally located in Kathmandu, Divine Kathmandu Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. My five-day stay went great mostly thanks to the efforts of the manager who really accommodated every need that arose. I appreciate the care and assistance during my stay and it was instrumental in my enjoying the trip. This attention really overrides all the small issues here and there. The manager really knows how to work with clients. The front desk staff, the housekeeping staff were always accommodating and nice. I was expecting breakfast to be the same every day but the diversity of options truly surprised. Omlette station was an amazing addition and western options (especially the porridge) were most appreciated. The bed was very large and comfortable. There is even a balcony. The location is amazing. For a three-star hotel this is definitely a great deal. I would totally recommend!

Situated in Kathmandu, 1.7 km from Swayambhu, Everest Boutique Hotel features accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel is a modern 7 storey structure with views over the north and west of the city. Built in a traditional style, it is a family run business located on a quiet lane west of the busy Thamel tourist area. We spent a week there, with no particular itinerary, just walking, browsing and eating at backstreet nepalese, indian and chinese restaurants (which were all good, the chinese in particular providing a wide choice of regional foods from Tianjin, Shanghai and Lang Zhou). We found it a perfect place to use as a base for shopping in the nearby market streets and for walking out across the city to the Monkey temple, Kathmandu and Patan Durbars. The breakfast was really good with a choice of cooked and continental, massala chai, proper espresso-machine Americano coffee and eggs to order. The owners, Mina and Dolakh, are friendly and attentive, the rooms are clean and spacious, the roof terrace was a delight.

Set just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful Phewa Lake, Hotel Middle Path & Spa offers clean and comfortable rooms with views. Complimentary WiFi access is available. Great hospitality, proactive professional staffs . Special shoutout to Kiran the Server and Bikas at Front desk who looked after us during our stay. Food was great. Check in and Check out was swift. Only Cons was there were no Bathrobe and slippers . I would like to suggest the Management Team to add Bathrobe and slippers in the room ,Overall stay was great . We will be coming back soon.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Oasis Kathmandu Hotel offers accommodation in Kathmandu. An amazing hotel to stay in, very friendly staff, quite clean rooms which're well decorated and equipped with neccessities the guests might need to use during their stay. Before staying at Oasis hotel, I stayed in another 'best rated' hotel within Thamel area, unfortunately I left that hotel on the second day given the fact it was too noisy all the times due to its location. I picked Oasis hotel due to its excellent reviews, relaxing environment and excellent qualities for a comfortable stay at compatative rates. The hotel is close enough to all the attractions in Kathmandu including Thamel. I indeed enjoyed each moment of my stay at Oasis. The hotel manager is a highly dedicated professional who personally ensures that all the guests are enjoying a comfortable stay at the hotel. It is quite rare to see a manager somtimes performs housekeeping etc. tasks himself to motivate other colleagues and to ensure standards are well maintained. The receiptionist is also a professional and friendly staff who's always there to assist the guests if they need some assistance. Breakfast was superb with lots of items to select from! I'd definately stay at Oasis hotel during my next visit to Nepal and hotel would maintain the same levels of standards!

Thamel Boutique Hotel has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kathmandu. This 3-star hotel offers a tour desk and luggage storage space. Everything was perfect. I am glad I trusted the rating and decided to go ahead with this hotel. The staff was excellent and very supportive. The manager personally checked in from time to time about my stay and ensured that I was comfortable. Great value for money.

Wonderful place, I recommend it to anyone who likes comfort, tasty food and polite people. They helped us to organise a transfer and answered all our questions about Kathmandu 😊

Located in Kathmandu, 1.9 km from Hanuman Dhoka, Kathmandu Aagantuk Hotel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. Every single member of staff I met was amazing. Genuinely some of the nicest people I've ever met. The hotel was very clean and would be ideal for solo travellers or couples (possibly families too). It's a 1 minute walk away from Thamel which is the main "tourist" area of the city.. but a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction you will get some amazing small local spots with the best "momo" (the most popular local/national food. Essentially dumplings with different fillings) but anyway..the location is ideal. its close to everything but still in a calm and quiet area. I had the most amazing chats every day with Abhi, the hotel supervisor/manager. An absolute gentleman who would go over and beyond in every way for a guest. But all the staff were the same. I only ate breakfast in the hotel and usually stuck to the same (American Style). But it was always very good. The guys would gladly give you some extra food etc if you wanted. I didn't eat other food from the restaurant as I was eating out and about but I'm sure it is all great. They were also great in regards to laundry services. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any backpackers, solo travellers or couples.

The charming Karma Hotel Nepal offers homely accommodation with en suite bathrooms in Kathmandu. My experience in this hotel was amazing! All the staff is very nice and helpful. They even may help you planning any hiking or tracking. The infrastructure of the place is pretty good and it is in an extraordinary location. If you're staying in Kathmandu, this is an ideal option.
