The location is perfect. The Octagon, the university, and many restaurants are an easy walk. The suite was actually an amazing apartment. Very comfortable and incredibly spacious. I would definitely stay there again.

Ideally situated in Christchurch, The Observatory Hotel Christchurch features a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Simply amazing. One of the best hotel experiences ever - and we have had many. Such a lovely, historical college building, beautiful decor, cleanliness and perfect customer service. A beautiful room and bathroom, lovely bed and linens. We also liked the continental breakfast a lot. I have celiac diseace and had yet a good choise. The breakfast hostess earns our special thaks. Location in the Arts Centre was great with shops a lovely restaurants and a cafe. Sadly the antiquities museum was closed Mon - Tue. Also the museum tram has its stop very close. Featuring a fitness centre, a restaurant as well as a bar, Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland is set in the centre of Auckland, 2.5 km from Masefield Beach. Loved my room- king with harbour view- had Sky Tower right outside my window too. Room had everything needed for a perfect stay. Bed great. Pillows great. Bathroom great. Nice breakfast too. Great location for centre of town, restaurants. Bus stop to North Shore right outside the door.
