Moatoga Hotel is a family-owned hotel, situated in the heart of central Apia. I recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip, and during my stay, I unfortunately broke my foot. From the moment it happened, the staff, particularly Fou and Ben, went above and beyond to take care of me. Ben called the ambulance, gave me his crutches (!), and Fou accompanied me to the hospital and stayed with me the entire time, offering incredible support and comfort. The whole team felt like family—checking on me constantly while I was confined to my room for three days due to the injury. They also ensured I had everything I needed, from transportation to meals. I was truly amazed by the level of personal attention and care I received throughout my stay. This wasn’t just customer service; it felt like genuine compassion. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, especially if you're looking for a place where the staff genuinely care about your well-being. They turned what could have been a difficult situation into a much more manageable and even heartwarming experience.

They were prompt and friendly. Malo lava...I will always stay at Lava when traveling to Apia and I always share the experience with my family and friends. OH! and the breakfast was onolicious! Located at the base of its namesake Mount Vaea, this family-run hotel is 950 metres from Apia's town centre. Very helpful and friendly owners who went out of their way to assist. Comfortable room. Quiet location that is not far from the centre of town. Good breakfast in the very pleasant garden area.
