This room on the second floor was much better than the room I was several months ago.

This hotel is located in a characteristic 18th-century residence less than 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of Mons. St James features free Wi-Fi, a cosy bar and a terrace.

Very good hotel, very close to the central square of the town, which you will definitely want to visit. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a splendid buffet with cold meats and cheese, and if you asked the very helpful lady who was on duty, she'd make you bacon and eggs. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Incidentally, there is paying off-road private parking if your car is visibly loaded with holiday stuff, but if not, there is plently of space in the public parking outside the hotel. The area is quiet and low-risk. Mons itself is well worth the visit, especially if like us, you know a bit about August 1914.

Excellent service. Very nice, clean and modern accommodation. Loved room configuration with king and two singles. Breakfast buffet was amazing and had a great selection. Nearby independent restaurant also great.
