There are many great things to say about this place. First of all: the staff! Angel and Hanne communicated with me before and during our stay, in English, are were extremely helpful! Angel helped me book the Li River cruise and it all worked out perfectly. Hanne had great tips for places to visit, and she even led us, on her scooter, to a hidden place to bathe on the river! Second: the location. It's a 10-minute ride from West Street so very quiet, and in a place amidst lakes, fields, and the mountains. Third and relatedly: the rooms!! Beautifully renovated, and with huge windows facing the view I've just described. Waking up everyday, hitting the open-curtain button, and see this amazing "painting" in front of us was extraordinary.

Its super!!! I love everything about this place! Nature, peace, beautiful details, paintings, little signs, sound of birds, butterflies in the garden, beautiful view- exceptional! Warm welcome from the owner! Tea ceremony, and delicious food. I would love to come back!

I have beeb to the secret garden now a few times over the last 10 years or so. Yanshuo and yulong river area have changed heaps over the years, here i still find peace and quiet. Villagers were planting rice. The locals gather at the river in the evening to cool down. On an electric scooter you can easily explore les touristy areas. The staff was really helpful. The western treats at restaurant made my day.
