We had a very nicely equipped duplex apartment that had a lovely terrace on which we had coffee in the morning. Clipper is in very lively and pleasant Portugiesenviertel, which boasts of cafes, bars and restaurants, and yet it was quiet enough to leave the window open at night. The rooms have just been renovated and are in great shape. There is a supermarket right next door and thank to its location you can walk to many sights such as the Elbphilharmonie, Speicherstadt or St Pauli. We will be back.

Good place, nice staff, great breakfast. Facilities are pretty clean and quiet. Might be a bit how in a summer because the windows are on the sunny side, but there’s blackout curtains so it’s not a problem. Definitely save for our future travels.

The hotel is comfortably situated near the Planten and Blumen park and a short walk from the center of town/ We loved the room and its beautiful decor. Breakfast was rich and tasty. The staff, and especially Jorm, were most helpful and patient with every request or question we had and the price was very reasonable. If we come again this will be our choice.
