Fantastic location as it was close to the office and the centre, so getting around just by short walks was very enjoyable. The hotel itself is a very high standard and decorated very well, as the name suggests. The staff were incredible, extremely patient, courteous and helpful, and they could not have made our stay more pleasant. The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom and shower was perfect. Note that wifi was also good and included in the room rate... 😊 I am looking forward to many more stays here in the future, when visiting our office in Emmendingen. Normally I would stay in Freiburg but this hotel is a real game changer.

Spotless clean and everything very modern. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Attention to details: eh assortment of soap and shampoo and lotion bottles renewed every day (I hate it when soap is just a big bottle hanging from the wall). Very quiet location. Conveniently locate close to the center, the railway station and the university.

Everything. The family room was big enough for me and my husband and our two small children. The staffs were also helpful. Breakfast was also good.

We were accommodated in 'Landhaus' which is a very spacious room that was well designed with a huge comfortable bed and large en-suite bathroom. Although we didn't have breakfast, we did have our evening meals in the restaurant. The meals were excellent and reasonably priced. As part of the tourist tax we were given tickets for free travel on the local trains and busses. We caught the train from the local station (5 to 10 min walk) into Freiburg for the day - quick, easy and free! There is a honesty fridge in the common area with wine and soft drinks, a great idea. We had a great two night stay and would not hesitate in coming back!

We absolutely loved everything. Great location. Just a five-minute walk from the center, in a very quiet, cozy place. Great and varied breakfast. The hotel has its own underground parking and a restaurant. You must reserve a parking space in advance. If there is no parking space at the hotel when you arrive, there is a public underground parking 30 meters away. I would like to specifically note that the hotel has very polite and helpful staff. We stayed at this hotel last year as well. We would be happy to choose it again if our travel route passes through this city.
