The staff! From the ladies at customer care, to the boys at breakfast restaurant, pool staff and plus staff during day from Burger bar, were exceptional. I felt so well looked after, they really went beyond to make sure I was truly happy and satisfied with all services. Every single member of staff should be very praised by their management. Brutally honest, I been living in Hurghada for last 2 years and a half and never got treated not there, not anywhere as well as I was treated at La Meridien. The whole team there should travel all around Egypt and teach everyone else what is excellent customer service. All staff deserve a salary raise and I can say that very comfortably, after experienced many places around Egypt. Super 5 stars and for sure, you will see me again at your hotel. What an experience in Egypt, wow!

I have stayed in multiple 5 star hotels in Egypt (including another international hotel brand in their Cairo hotel) and my experience was that most of these "5 star" hotels are only 4 stars by international standards. However, Fairmont Nile City truly meets my expectations for a 5 star hotel. The check-in process was smooth and professional, the rooms are very clean, they provide turndown service in the evening, and the restaurant and concierge staff are always very helpful and courteous. Location was central with shops and cafes in the mall next door - handy if you are looking to have a shisha night out. Overall a wonderful stay at Fairmont Nile City (especially after the disappointing experiences I have had with other big chain hotels claiming to be "5 stars") and I will stay again (if I ever visit Cairo again!).

We got the patio rooms that were simply amazing. A quiet gettaway with amazing pool facilities. The reception (compliments to Kholoud) were very accomodating. Breakfast was amazing (shout out to Chef Ahmed on the egg station) and food venues were perfect (Tao, lobby bar and Bake Bar were super yummy). The family loved it. Will definitely be returning.
