We had a very nice room, large bathroom, with a bath as well as a shower. The bed was comfy, and a really nice touch was some fresh fruit. The staff were very friendly as well. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good. There are a few outside areas to sit and have a drink which was nice as we arrived on a hot day.

The Red Lion Inn

Long Compton (Near Banbury)

Real Ales, fine wines, superb food and a warm welcome await from your hosts, Sarah and Lisa. The interior retains an old world charm, with log fires, stone walls and oak beams.

The food is great and the rooms are very stylish and clean. It was the first time I slept so soundly since I came to England. The food was definitely the best I've had in England. They were also kind to me until the end even though I could not speak English. It gave me really great memories.

Lovely location and the building itself is stunning, the reception area was clean and the staff were pleasant enough and some of the staff were actually really helpful and friendly. There were plenty of towels in the room, and the bed was comfortable with a good-sized freeview tv . Make a lovely coffee at the bar, and the outside seating was greatly appreciated in the lovely sunshine. Brilliant, for if you've a dog, they're very helpful in making sure the dogs are happy and well looked after.
