We loved everything! The entire house has clearly been a labour of love, perhaps even obsession 😍 It is a real treat to stay in such a wonderful home, brim-full with collections and luxurious decoration. Breakfast was great too, and we compared notes on our rooms with another couple who were staying. After breakfast Paul let my wife play on their gorgeous piano in the sitting room, which she loved.

A True Gem in Hastings – Bed & Breakfast at Its Absolute Best If we could give this B&B six stars for breakfast alone, we gladly would! But this place offers far more than just a morning feast fit for royalty. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by our exceptional host – a French gentleman who seems to have made it his life’s mission to perfect the art of hospitality. His attention to detail, local knowledge, and heartfelt enthusiasm made us feel not just accommodated, but truly looked after. Whether it was insider tips on where to dine, hidden corners of Hastings to explore, or day trips in the surrounding countryside – every recommendation was spot on. The breakfast was, quite simply, sublime – lovingly prepared, beautifully presented, and worthy of a fine dining experience (without the stiff upper lip). Fresh ingredients, thoughtful variety, and that unmistakable touch of passion that makes all the difference. Throughout our journey along the South Coast, this was without a doubt the best overall experience – a true highlight. It’s rare to find such a perfect combination of charm, comfort, and quality. If you’re passing through Hastings, don’t think twice. Book it. Just save us a room for next time.

I liked the grandness of the buildings, interior design, cleanliness and service plus the size of the room. The gardens were stunning. It’s a shame the spa is a completely seperate building.

Second stay here ... it's wonderful! Nothing mass produced here! Beautiful furnishings from British designers, delicious smells, amazing bedding, homemade sausages and breakfast - and insanely gorgeous customer service.
