It was very convenient to downtown Truro. The room was nicely appointed and the mattress was to die for! Like sleeping at a 5* hotel! We had dinner one of the evenings we stayed and the fish and chips were the best I’ve had! Breakfast was excellent and my special request for a boiled egg was done without any issues and boiled soft to perfection.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and cosy, nice bed but soft pillows but with a bit of mixing with my partner we sleep well.

The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the room was clean, with everything needed. Even helped with dinner bookings, taxi arrangements and advised us on the return to the hotel. We had a great evening and a comfortable stay.

Very friendly staff/owners. The location is fantastic and close to the FishBar for dinner. Easy parking also just around the corner. Hosts were fantastic and very accommodating with loading and unloading out gear for one night in the rain, We will be back

We found this place by chance when looking for a last minute overnight stay. The hotel was clean and well presented and in a convenient location. The staff were all wonderful and would get out of their own way to do anything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We are definitely coming back.

This is bang in the centre of lovely neat Truro, with a great restaurant as part of the hotel (seemed to us the busiest more or less upmarket restaurant in Truro, attracting "the nice kind of" locals). Spacious gated car park. Lovely rooms ( in what on the continent we would call "traditional country" style, rather than very modern design; but very comfortable), more than spacious enough, helpful staff.
