Absolutely excellent stay. I would even go so far as to say it was the best B&B/host experience I’ve ever had. I didn’t know hosts could make such a big difference to your stay, but I suppose I just hadn’t experienced a great one until now. From the start, Karl was extremely welcoming. He had excellent recommendations in the area and nearby the town, also great chat. The attention to detail in the room amenities was above and beyond. It was actually at hotel level and not what I expected from an intimate B&B: a great selection of tea, coffee, and small snacks; a little pamphlet about everything you can do in Dorchester; a very nice menu for breakfast; loved the art and interior design. The breakfast itself was absolutely delicious, made by the other co-host, Jocelyn, literally restaurant level! I can honestly say the trip was ten times better than it would have been because of the hosts and the place.

Little Court is a delightful Edwardian Country House with fabulous gardens, just 1 mile from the centre of historic Dorchester, and just 20 minutes from the World Heritage ‘Jurassic Coast’.

A truly charming and well-maintained place, made even more special by Amenda, a warm and welcoming host. It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life—a peaceful retreat surrounded by a beautiful, blooming garden. The interiors are tastefully done, with thoughtful touches throughout. Our room was lovely, filled with natural light and offering serene views of the garden and open fields. Everything felt just right. I only wish I had more time to spend here. I’ll definitely be returning—this place is a gem.

Spacious twin room with ample light, quiet & plenty of tea, coffee etc. The bathroom was spacious & a really good shower. Parking & location were perfect. 3 min walk into town. Mark was a great host. Knowledgeable & friendly.
