I stayed only one night at Aquila Atlantis Hotel but I really enjoy it. Very clean room, comfy bed, balcony with a great view over the harbor. The location of the hotel is amazing, in the city center, within walking distance to the the harbor, old town, Central Bus Station and shops. The Archeological Museum is right behind the hotel. Nice pool area especially the one on the top of the building with a view to the Koules Fortress, but I didn't stay long enough to use it.

Situated opposite the old city harbour, Lato Boutique Hotel features a rooftop restaurant-bar overlooking Heraklion's Venetian Fortress.

The property is located in the heart of the city within a minute's walk to restaurants, shops, and numerous historical sites, and our quiet room on the top floor faced a fantastic view with a balcony. The room was a decent size with a comfy bed, but the bathroom is quite small but efficient. Breakfast was included with a very nice spread. The staff were friendly, helpful, and offered to call a taxi for our trip to the airport.

This well-known Capsis Astoria Heraklion is located next to the Archaeological Museum.

An unbelievable experience in an amazing place, I wasn't prepared for how gorgeous this place is. The staff are sweet and kind, the pools, the facilities, the seaview, are all out of this world. This place is nearing 5* and the staff make it so comfortable as they are so down to earth and approachable. The rooms with pools looked amazing and on our last evening I only noticed the spa area for massage .. wow!! Wish I'd booked a massage it was unreal an open area like a villa with uninterrupted sea views, swimming pool, waterfall etc this should be advertised more! Should not be telling you all this and want to keep it secret but it so deserves to be said, what a place. Just left checked into a place nothing like it and wish I was still there. Thank you so much to all the staff.

What a gem! We stayed at Eliathos for 10 days, and it was the perfect base for us to explore the local surroundings and the charming town of Archanes, as well as easily accessible day trips to Heraklion, Knossos, Chania, Diktaion Cave and Agia Pelagia. The stunning surroundings and peaceful atmosphere of this residence provided a lovely place for us to spend days by the pool in between the longer day trips. The facilities were excellent, with each residence fully equipped with everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful (especially Nikos, who gave us lots of helpful tips and suggestions) and made it feel like a home from home. Would highly recommend Eliathos for short or long stays in Crete.
