It's an amazing family owned hotel, surrounded by the family farm. The structure is typical of the area, with beautiful wooden beams an furnishing. Everything is modern and perfectly clean, with high quality bedding, towels and toiletries. Excellent night sleep, beautiful views and you can wake up to the subtle noise of farm animals outside. The breakfast is outstanding and ingredients are obviously fresh and local, some properly local to the farm itself. Easy to reach by car and ample parking space. Staff was very kind and available, excellent service during the breakfast.

Big rooms, beautifully decorated and clean. The breakfast was very good. If you forgot to reserve a parking spot, there's public parking with a lot of space close by; it's free after 7 PM and before 9 AM.

The Sottovento hotel is in the center of Bormio, about 300 meters far from the local ski resort. It offers refined suites with flat-screen satellite TV, most with balcony and free Wi-Fi.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, it was vey clean, cozy and fives the feeling of privacy and exclusivity. Each room has a designated parking spot so there is “competition”. Booking the SPA of the hotel makes for a private experience as only one couple can be there at a time. As a bonus there was a scenic view from the balcony.

Outstanding location, the best in the town of Glorenza right in the square and not on the Main Street. Room 309 was on the top floor with a lovely view over the square. The Square was quiet at night and we could open the window. The Receptionist was a delight and very welcoming.
