Extraordinary place, super friendly staff. The warm welcome by our hosts made you feel at home immediately. The pool is one of the biggest in Sri Lanka with a real pool bar. Breakfast was super tasty, a wide range of different food to choice from. In the hotel bar you could taste the best cocktails while playing snooker & pool all with a live band in the background. Every staff member took the time for a friendly chat and were very compassionate and flexible Special thank you for my friend the porter who was smiling all the time and off course Amanda, our host, who combines professionalism with friendliness as I never have seen before.. Always available for a friendly talk and very resourceful.

It really felt like going back in time; beautifully decorated by Geoffrey Bawa giving the typical tropical movement vibe. Very tranquil place, the garden is stunning, breakfast delicious and you have the luxury of the swimming pool and just a 5 minute walk away also the quiet beach. The train running through the garden only every once in a while makes it extra special. The noise never bothered me while I am a light sleeper (as of midnight until +/- 05:00 the train doesn't pas by anymore anyway). There are many guests who have been coming back for years. That already says enough. The staff is incredibly friendly. Absolutely loved it here, thank you for this special experience and truly hope to come back in the future!

Perfectly harmonious design embedded in a beautiful landscape just like other design hotels by Bawa. Amazing for families. Great service overall. From reception, Bell boy , housekeeping, restaurant, everything was to our satisfaction. complements to the staff. and thanks for making our stay memorable. Food options were really great as well. special thanks to Thashmi , Saman ,Ttharanga, the ones from restaurants!!! Our whole family enjoyed the stay and we can only recommend this gorgeous place!!!
