LithuaniaStaying at Buckingham Place in Sri Lanka was a truly special experience. Imagine coming back from a long, hot walk by the sea, just wishing for a sip of cold water. When you step inside, a friendly barman is there to offer you exactly that—this is one of the numerous examples showing the dedication and care of the hotel team. Throughout your stay, the staff always go out of their way to make you feel valued and looked after. This high level of hospitality is thanks to Nick, the owner, who personally talks to every guest and puts his heart into the place. The staff are attentive and professional, the rooms are spaciuos, private and stylish, and the surroundings are green and beautiful. The food is delicious, with options from both Sri Lankan and Western cuisines. Little things like free drinking water, complimentary drinks & snacks in your minibar, and fresh flower decorations make your stay really special. Plus, there's a really big pool where you can enjoy a good swim. Here's a fun fact: I forgot my swimsuit at the hotel and the team kindly arranged for it to be brought to me to the airport, which is 3 hours drive (!) This is a true example of going extra mile for your customer. Most guests come back again to this hotel, and it's easy to see why—Nick and his team are doing a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome and happy.
