The staff were great and the hotel is located within easy reach of Macedonia Square (20 mins walk). However the real bonus here is the room size. Mine was a lovely big comfortable room with a great shower. Double bed very comfy (I selected double bed when booking). There is a small bar downstairs and breakfast is also available (I didn't have any). This hotel is fantastic value for money and I will certainly go back if I am in Skopje again.

Overall impression is exceptional. The host, Dimitri, is true example of how to run a hotel and a family business. If you need any assistance or suggestion what to see or where to eat, he will gladly help you. Hotel is close to city center (10 min walk) and there are few malls which are open during weekends (exchange offices work every day). For those who travel by car, host can arrange parking place, and also next to hotel is a gas station (MAKPETROL). Rooms are clean, spacious and decorated with taste. Also there is a refrigerator and large TV. Bathrooms are clean and well equipped. Staff is very pleasant and will help in every situation. Since we were at February, heating was excellent and you can manually set temperature. Near front desk is a bar where you can make yourself a tea or a coffee. Also you can use dishes (plates, kitchen utensils etc) if you want to eat at hotel. Next time we visit Skopje, we will definitely stay at City5.

We enjoyed the communication with Dimitri and his hospitality. It elevated the stay and made us feel very welcome. If you have any questions, Dimitri will take care of it. He has many suggestions what you can do, see and where to eat. Best way to experience Skopje. Otherwise he property was very nice, rooms were big and had all necessities. We were very happy with our stay and will recommend everyone to book with Dimitri when staying in Skopje (or Ohrid).
